well, these last few days have been really good as far as primary research goes for PRP. i went to this show on friday called 'Paula is a Slut' - it was really quite moving, it has an MA performing arts student, she was basically doing a performance peice that was a sale of her emotions. she had been treated badly by loads of guys and to start a fresh life she was wrapping up her memorys in a box and giving them away. not sure how it relates to my research, maybe the feminist angel of how women are looked at and viewed within society. but it was a good show, and i chatted to her afterwards, ive got her email and blog adress so i will drop her and email and some questions.
Kelly and Handcock
well, i went to angel row gallary a few weeks ago to see an on going peice of work that they are doing, which involves patteren and one of the artists is having a tatoo of wall paper done on her back. but this was a different show, i will explain more in my prpr, but it was basically i semi naked gut, laying on a peice of metal and a lady was twineing his hair into the metal so he couldnt move, very enclosed space very voyouristic - so perfect. i need to email them aswell.

Personal Research Project
This is an individual research project, aka - my PRP. During the course of the year i will be studying the subject of VOYOUISM. Looking into how it is used across the different mediums and how it effects our society in the way it is portrayed through the media, paying particular interest into the music video industory.
Client Project
For this i will be creating Compound. Along with my two team mates, James and Huw we will be establishing a media production company and tackling the challenges that it throws up along the way, you've guessed it, its called compound!
